The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism in the year 2011signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese filming company known as Bridgearth Corporation and established a Tanzania Natural Resource Activation Project (TANAREAP). The main objective is to produce educational and promotional films that will promote Tanzania tourist attractions in the word.

As a result of succession in producing the Films, TANAREAP inaugurates 4 DVDs in each contain 8 different stories whereas it enables people to get environmental education in animals’ life as well as promoting Tanzania tourist attractions. The DVDs are in Swahili and English Version.

Apart from that, the project focused in providing professional filming training to Government staffs that was selected from Directorates and Institutions of The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.

In this Project, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism Involves Directorate of Tourism, Directorate of Wildlife, Tanzania Tourist Board, Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) and Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). The TANAREAP project will be for three years.
