Saudi Arabia is turning the 2034 World Cup into a stadium blueprint

The plan spans nine named venues, with a heavy focus on Riyadh plus Al Khobar and a headline project in NEOM. Names like Aramco Stadium, New Murabba Stadium, and the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium show how the tournament is being used as a city-scale development timeline.

Some sites read like new builds, others like upgrades, but the point is capacity, access, and broadcast-ready design. This is less about one month of matches and more about a decade of construction decisions.
