Electrical Technician

An Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The technician ensures that electrical installations operate safely and efficiently while following company procedures and applicable safety standards.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems.
Inspect electrical systems to identify faults and potential hazards.
Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Test electrical circuits and components using appropriate testing instruments.
Replace damaged cables, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and workplace procedures.
Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Assist with electrical installation and commissioning work.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance staff.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
