Qatar's Vision for a Massive Floating Luxury Resort

Qatar has revealed plans for an extraordinary 8.6-acre floating luxury resort in Doha on the Persian Gulf.

Named The Eco-Floating Hotel, this five-star establishment will feature 152 rooms and is designed to rotate slowly throughout the day, generating its own electricity via water currents while providing guests with panoramic views that change over time.

The resort aims for minimal energy loss and zero waste, including amenities such as a glass-floored lobby to observe aquatic life, a mini golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, spa, sauna, and a basketball court.
Access to the hotel will be via a pier connected to the shore, by boat, or even by helicopter, catering to the most discerning travelers.
