Saudi Arabia has begun construction on the Mukaab, a 400-meter-tall cube-shaped skyscraper in Riyadh, which will be the world’s largest building by volume when completed As the centerpiece of the New Murabba district, this monumental structure is designed to house an array of cultural and entertainment venues, alongside two million square meters of retail space and a spiraling central tower. Funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, the Mukaab is part of the country’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify its economy and elevate Riyadh into a global hub for tourism and innovation
