This week in Doha has been full of new and seriously fun things to do, and the weekend is no exception when it comes to places to see and sports events you must attend.
October itself is one of the best months with Pinktober and Oktoberfest activities to do throughout the month and ending with some Halloween treats.
And if you’re looking to head beyond the city, you can soak up the tail end of the hot weather at the beautiful beaches or start setting up camp at some of the best camping spots in Qatar.

The country is cooling down, meaning our wonderful winter hangout spots are opening up. And this weekend, you can join the Lusail Winter Wonderland opening carnival, filled with festive outdoor fun.
You can expect all your favourite rides from the Ooredoo 5G Rollercoaster to the 53-metre AIN QNB Ferris Wheel, plus the entertainment will feature Daffy, Flipperachi, and DJ Outlaw on October 23, and end with a concert by Akhras on October 25.
One of the best things to do in Doha for free, and with the kids, is the Glow in the light event. It has several amazing activities, from neon painting, glow slime making, glow sand play, decorating with LED bracelets, and dancing in the glow.
The kids are sure also to love the LED DJ Characters, an LED Magic Show, and a mesmerising LED Bubble Show

The FIP Asian Padel championship is coming to Qatar this week, and it’ll unfold in two stages: the first from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, followed by the Final 8 stage from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24.

MENA Championship Nations Cup 2025
The karting legends are hitting the track again this week. The MENA Championship Nations Cup 2025 is bringing the best karting talent from across the Middle East and North Africa to Qatar. They will be competing across six categories.
Plus, spectators will have a treat with family-fun activities available at the venue for all ages, from a radio-controlled car circuit to PlayStation 5 gaming stations and more.

QPO presents: 50 years of Diplomatic Relations Austria-Qatar(Credit: Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra).
Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO). in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy, are bringing the classical tunes to the Katara Opera House on Saturday October 25 from 7.30pm to 9.30.
They are celebrating 50 years of relations with Qatar — so if you’re looking for the perfect night out, this is your sign to get tickets.
